Anyone have a clue on how to get the "Check Gauges" light and the "Service Engine Soon" light to go off?
Thanks

Try disconnecting the negative battery cable for a couple of minutes. If that doesn't work you will have to pull codes to isolate the problem?:confused

pull the codes first to see if there is a problem and what it is.

How do you "Pull the codes"

Check Gauges

If your check gauges light is on, usually it means one of your gauges (temp, oil pressure,etc..) is in the red. Check all your gauges and make sure they're where they're supposed to be.

Of course, if your engine is not running, but the key turned on, then they will be on because you have no oil pressure at that point.

all the gauges seem to be workig just fine?????
any other suggestions?
thanks;help

Were you able to get any codes? That light will come on if your low on gas.

How do you get the codes?
The fuel bars don't work, maybe that's it? they come on prior to starting the vehicle, but once started they go away and never come back?
and the "service engine soon" light comes on after driving about 10 minutes or so, and they it will go off and sometimes it comes back on then off......etc?
any suggestions?
thanks:v

As vets4-2 suggested, go to that site &
look for the 16 pin DLC info. I believe you short 12 to 4 & then turn ignition "on", do not start . Codes will be displayed in the speedo area. Advise what you get.
