Chevrolet Expands Number of Dealers Eligible to Sell 2014 Corvette Stingray

Chevrolet has expanded the number of dealers that will sell the 2014 Corvette Stingray. Its remaining 2,100 dealers will now carry the redesigned sports vehicle, according to a company press release.

Chevrolet originally limited sales to just 900 dealers when the Corvette Stingray went on sale in September, meaning those dealers accounted for approximately 80 percent of all Corvette sales.

A dealer had to sell at least four Corvettes during 2012 to be eligible to sell the 2014 model.

"They are (now) all eligible and it is up to them to decide if they want to participate," Chevrolet spokesman Monte Doranaid to Edmunds.
