A couple weeks ago, one of our readers reached out to us asking for more details about Chevrolet's extended free maintenance visit timeline for owners of a 2020 - 2022 Corvette.
When we inquired with Chevrolet dealers about this update, nobody seemed to know what we were talking about. No official documentation has been released to dealers until now.
Last night, Chevrolet released the following announcement to dealers:
Corvette Included Maintenance 1st Service Visit Timing Extension
Updated Date: Jan 03, 2022 18:00 ET
Subject: 1st Service Visit Time Extension for 2020-2022 Chevrolet Corvette
Description: The Chevrolet Complete Care program is extending the Included Maintenance timing requirements for the owners of the Chevrolet Corvette (C8) to come in to dealerships for their 1st service visit. For owners of a 2020 and newer Corvette, the allowed timing for reimbursement is being increased from 12 months to 24 months. This new timing is to help satisfy customer concerns and is based on Dealer feedback.
Owners of a 2020 to 2022 Corvette have now up to 24 months to take advantage of their first free maintenance visit.
