This Sunday, the 2021 Corvette will take to the track as the official pace car for the Indianapolis 500 and Chevrolet has now revealed the original design sketches that served as the inspiration​

Chevrolet designer Adam Barry shares original renderings that led to the final design of the official pace car for the 105th running of the Indianapolis 500, a 2021 Chevrolet Corvette hardtop convertible driven by Danica Patrick. Adam, who also designed the Shock and Steel Special Edition package used on the 50 Camaro convertible Indy 500 festival vehicles, notes a few of his favorite features about this Corvette pace car:
