If I am not mistaken, 69MyWay's Vette is on one of the national mags that is currently on the newstand...I think it is Corvette Magazine (sorry if this is wrong Chris..)

I thought the photos and the copy really paid homage to the work and creativity that Chris put into his Vette...I was really impressed!!!;worship

Yes you are correct, Chris' 1969 Vette "Killer" is in March's issue of Vette Magazine on pages 37-39. It's a great story of how he saved "Killer" from being killed and resurrected it into what I think is the hotted Vette I've ever seen. It's classic yet modern look will redline even the most discriminating Viper owner's heart, and blow their doors off while doing it.

My wife and I were fortunate to get the opportunity to meet Chris and Nikki at Sharkfest along with other great CAC members. All I can say is nothing does this car justice but seeing it in the flesh. It is simply a work of art. Not to mention it kicks A**.:_rock

I have always been the kinda guy that likes cars to be left or restored original but that car made me change my thoughts. :cool

Thanks guys.

Believe me, it has been an uphill battle.

I hope if all goes well to eventually outfit the car with a few other mods. Thanks to Scott I now have a set of Spiral Baffles to try in the hookers as well.

1. six speed trans
2. hydratech brake booster
3. steeroids
4. cross drilled/fancy looking brakes
5. eventually block the whole body back down, and repaint it so that it still looks as nice as it did when Vette did the photo shoot. I have had a problem with some shrinkage on the Ecklers front clip. I figured I would just drive the mess out of the car between now and then and now worry about stone chips...etc, since I will be reshooting that anyway.
6. build the C3 utility trailer out of the spare C3 clip in my back yard.

As I have said before. At this time, I mostly want to inspire others to take the plunge and not to be afraid of working on your own car. There is a time and place for professionals, but there are so many things you can do to personalize, modify, repair, and achieve a sense of self satisfaction.

Due to the EXCESSIVE amount of money that Killer cost, my more and more limited time, and the fact we are considering starting a family.....it is looking like she is the last of any projects of this scale I will be doing for some time.

It has been more about the journey than the destination. I have met some of the most fantastic people through the trials and tribulations of building the car. It has been the people factor and the continuous support I have had from so many that have kept me plugging away.

Thanks again

Chris

Chris - Last week everytime I told you Killer was awesome, I knew words just aren't enough. I great car built by a great guy too. Wait - I'M Guy. Now I'm really confused:D.
