Christmas gift from the weatherman to all Delaware Vettes

Today the wetherman gave me a gift. 49 degrees and sunny! Off came the covers and the battery tenders and both Vettes got a good little run on the highway. I stopped at a light in my red '66 coupe and a guy hollered out to me, "If Santa had a Vette that would be the one!" I replied, "I'm going to have to get a Santa hat!" I haven't had either of them on the road since very early November so it really felt good to get them out and give them a kick in the ass after they were nicely warmed up. Life is good! They started right up! Now come on spring!

i would have joined you on a nice little cruise down the road but i'm still waiting for my carb to come back from rebuild (plus my drivers seat to come back from Al Knoch).

you should have stopped by while you were out and seen the improvement on BABY.

BTW, Andy was here this morning and picked up the Greenwood that's been here since the beginning of Nov. so he got a nice cruise in also today taking her home.

I saw the title and I immediately thought of this old group... Guess I am showing my age.

Weatherman, also known as the Weather Underground Organization and, colloquially, sometimes 'the Weathermen', were a U.S. Radical Left organization consisting of splintered-off members and leaders of the Students for a Democratic Society. Its members referred to themselves as a "revolutionary organization of communist women and men," and carried out guerrilla actions, often characterized as terrorist, to achieve the revolutionary overthrow of the government of the United States. The group collapsed shortly after the U.S. withdrawal from Vietnam in 1975, which saw the general demise of the New Left, of which Weatherman had been a part.
