Chuck with a 2001 corvette

I have a 2001 Corvette, the driver side hvac will not change and it stays on full hot all the time, can someone help me out here on what the problem could be and a fix for it.

First of all welcome to we're glad you've joined us

About your problem you are referring to the drivers side temperature control know with dual temperature controls will not make any changes when move through heat or AC if I am reading this right? Not sure but assumed that was an electrical rea-stat switch that controls a vacuum controlled door for the heat and AC and controls a door someplace between the heater core and drivers side. I would first of all get a set of repair manuals you can buy them many places on line specific to your year/make/model, for me this was a must. Then you could trace the lay out of everything from switch temperature control to what switches over for this function. Also you might Google it, this is a rough way to go because you will get millions of crap that may or may not pertain to your particular problem! OEM manuals are a must!! Good luck, maybe someone out there has had this problem and will chime in, that always makes it pretty nice if someone else has been through it and can help out and they will. Does the passenger side work as designed; thinking not due to this all originating from the drivers side and dual settings being essentially the master switch if you will :confused
