I'd guess you probably can't polish magnesium very bright, though I don't know for sure. They look chrome to me, which seems like kind of a shame...

Yea you can polish it super bright but the problem is it won't stay that way very long.

I saw a set C5 mag rims that had been polished. They looked great but the for sale ad stated it they took some maintenance to keep them that way. :beer
 
There was a blue Callaway in the Houston area that had polished Dymag wheels. It was 10-15 years ago that I saw it. I think the problem was that Magnesium was porous. He had discused this with Reeves. The first picture looked like chrome wheels. I think the silver looks best, But that is what I am used to.:beer
