Last week I tried to clean the glass (Windows and mirrors) and I can't seem to get rid of the water spots. Anyone have a suggestion to clean these water spots?

I got this from an episode of "Crank and Chrome" about a year ago..
Wet paper towels, real wet and a product called BAR KEEPERS FRIEND. It is sold in most supermarkets near the souring cleansers (Comet etc) It is a very very fine polishing powder. It will remove most any film build up, you know, when you turn your wipers on in the rain and your windshield looks like and oil slick? Use it so that your windows are "lathered" up, then rinse off. I use in on all 6 of my family cars and on my 4 work vehicles. I then take isopropyl alcohol and clean the wiper blades to rejuvenate them.

Good luck.

Want squeaky clean glass?

Castrol Super Clean in the purple jug. Turn on windshield wiper and spray on, removes all oil, road film, bugs, etc...

Use it on your wheels to remove the brown film prior to putting the wet stuff...makes it last longer.

Want to get rid of wax buildup on car? wash it with Super Clean...even removes the old wax. I use it for everything...better then Dawn for lifting oil and grease....

Super clean is great stuff but you have to be careful with it. It's really strong and can damage paint.

It is called "Bon Ami" (?) and is in a gold colred can the size of a soda can or so. Works really well !

Just be sure to RINSE RINSE RINSE to get off the particles or you could scratch the paint.

I have had very good results with Zaino glass polish when I am in need of removing hard water spots. You do have to mail order it, but it's a great product for water spots and mild glass polishing.

Meguiars fan all the way, however, I also use the Zaino glass polish (had it laying around). It took out ALL my water spots that have been on the back window for years.

NO NO NO, BON AMI IS SCOURING POWDER!! BAR KEEPERS IS A POLISH!!

Been using Bon-Ami for years with good results. Its not abrasive like Comet. etc.
It's recommended by the General.
