Colorado Springs Memories

I've never used a cloth, micro fiber, terry cloth or chamouis that didn't leave streaks! Driving in the rain? The minute I left OKC for Cruise Fest in Colorado Springs it started raining and continued until half way to Amarillo. At the Springs we had a hail storm and rain that one day and the car didn't melt!;shrug

I drove mine all the way from Massachusettes to the Coloradro Springs CF and never hit any rain. Remember the outstanding set up the hotel had for washing our cars? What a great place and what a terrific CAC Cruisefest.

Squeegee and Windex. Even on inside (but have to go over inside with regular paper towel and Windex when done). But they come C L E A N.

Anyone ever either have the outsides polished by a shop or do it themselves with a kit (not looking for regular glass care here, but the more abrasive method) for "sparkels" or small pits in the glass?

Best Solution for Cleaning Covette Glass

My experience is/was the same with Stoner's Invisible Glass and Newspaper - Not the best results...so I tried a completely different approach with great results.

Here's my method:
1) Clay Bar Glass periodically.

2) Polish the glass with DRI WASH 'n GUARD® ULTRA-ION® - This product is also very good at removing bugs and other crap after your drive.

3) Once glass is polished you can use microfibers and just water to clean the glass. The fibers will no longer stick to the glass (as they would without polish leaving those annoying flecks all over your glass)... and no you cannot see the polish in/on the glass. The polish also helps keep things (bugs, grit, etc.) from grabbing and embedding onto the glass.

Try it sometime...you'll be amazed.
