2 weeks ago I pulled the engine out of the car. The following week I worked at tearing it down. When I took the timing cover off and was cleaning it, I noticed a wide shiny ring on it. I then examined the dampener. the outer ring had moved off the center hub all but about 1/4 inch. Just about ready to let loose.I dont think that would have been pretty. Its got 113000 on it. Whew, close one!!! :eek
