Sorry if this is a duplicate, but I wasnt sure if the L81 forum and this are the same.
I am trying to find out if anyone has used a 68-79 clutch pedal assembly for a 1981 (or 80-82) vette. I am starting to compile parts for an auto to manual conversion, I want to make sure the pedal assembly I just purchased, which is the 68-79 version will work in my 81.
I have read that the foot area in the 80-82 are different than the pre 80 C3's, but I want to know if this is a big problem or not to use the pedal assembly I already bought.
Of course, I have heard the pedal assembly is a huge project, so dont want to do this twice, so want to find out now if this clutch pedal is too big or not. From what I understand, the brake pedal is the same for both, but the clutch pedal has a smaller pad than the pre 1980 models.
