The 84 I just bought had the clutch replaced some time ago, but only about 5,000 mile. It feels great, but there is a faint sqeeking with the clutch out, that goes away when the cluch is pushed in or even with just a little pressure -this is pretty faint and almost sounds like the wear indicators on the brakes, but is definitely the clutch.
I thought that it could be the throw out bearing, but I'd think it would get worse when the clutch was pushed and would think that this was replaced with the clutch?
