cna a stockcomputer be used with carbs?

does anyone here know if a stock computer on an '87 coupe can be used with carburators or more specificly a roots type blower and dual quads? I'd like to keep the stock digital dash cluster (now that I have it fixed).

Has anyone used a 6-71 blower?

I should have asked is there a way to either bypass the computer to use the stock '87 gauges or fool the computer? I'm building a blown 383 and would like to retain the original dash cluster. Has anyone done this yet?
