Code 33 and no idle

Got in my 86 yesterday for a quick ride and the check engine light stayed on. The car drove fine but would not idle at all. I could keep it running by giving it a little gas but if I let of the gas all the way it would gradually slow down and finally die. No starting problems just won't idle without giving it a little gas. I am also getting a code 33 which is MAF sensor high. Any ideas on what to do next? IAC maybe ??? I'm lost:confused thanks in advance Charlie

Have you checked for vacuum leaks yet?

Yes and I couldn't find any. A little more info it will idle around 600 in gear A/T if I hold the pedal steady.

Check for a cracked air intake tube. That black tube that runs from the TB to the airfilter. My cracked on the underside once and threw the same code. Maybe you'll get lucky...
