Well, I got the O2 fixed and she works great :D. Now I need to solve the last item on the check engine light and that is a code 33 (map). The car runs a lot better with the new O2 but will still idle rough after giving her some gas. I will have to put her in neutral to keep her running. My Chilton's manual doesn't show me the MAP sensor *that or I over looked it as it is 1am in the morning* Is there a good test so I can make sure the thing is bad?

Again, I thank you all for the help! You all are amazing:thumb

I don't see any check in the book for the unit itself on a code 33. All it says is to check the connector and wires. Should be 3 (purple, green, gray) Green goes to the black connector on the ECM. The other two go to the white connector on the ECM. It seems the one to concentrate on is the green wire.It also makes reference to checking for an open ground...I don't see a black wire in the diagram.

For the most part it says if you get a code 33 replace the MAP sensor.

Code 34 is a different storey.

So check the connections at the ECM and MAP. If they are good I think you need to replace the MAP. Book also says if the MAP and wires are good and you still get a code 33 you may need a new ECM.
