code 36?

I pulled a code 36 frm the car, I have found that this means the pulse is either too low or too high from the distributor. The car sat for two and a half years before i purchased it a month ago. Someone told me to check the pigtail plug from the distributor for oxidization. Can anyone tell me where that is located?

The car is a 1994 if that makes a difference as to what the code means?

According to my list it's DTC #36: Distributor Ignition System High Pulse. The distributor is actually an opti-spark located behind the water pump on the front of the block. Haven't seen that code before, not sure what it means.
