update/reply

spoke with python a few mins ago and they say a resistor is bad
on the left side o2 sensor??(they are chking and repairing)
garage says I also have a bad ebcm/which needs replacing
I thought when you read a code such as 44(lean??)you had like
a set procedure that you could follow to eliminate and isolate
problem: from what I am reading it appears it can be a lot of
different things___________again thank you for responding
I appreciate it hope to return the favor after I relearn the
shade tree program

sorry I dont understand your reply guess I need to
do a little more studying before I ask the question
apologize

People say stuff that means alot, till the sound stops. In other words, means nothing. Get down there, and get them to SHOW you the multimeter hooked up, and shows a resistor that's NOT showing specification current flowing through it.

Ditto for the EBTCM module. Tell them you're from Missouri - that's the 'Show Me' state. Show me the testS that proves bad EBTCM. Note the BOLD 'S', because more than one test is necessary to confirm this UH HUH...

First, clear all codes. See procedure here Then go closed loop (fully warmed up, and do the paper clip gig, found here.

Post back up on it...

missouri bound

pulled out the fsm tonight and put down my regular mind candy
have some values and chk points now: thank you-- will respond
shortly after follow up chks: it appears it can be something as
simple as a ground.??
thanks for your help
