These codes come up on a regular basis :cry

# P0410 AIR System
# B1016 Loss of Communications with PCM
# U1064 Loss of Communications with BCM
# U1096 Loss of Communications with IPC

I had a 99 FRC. Great handling Z51 car. Very Fast. The loss of communication is because you lost power to the PCM. Have you disconnected the battery lately? That would throw those other codes. The air system code is interesting. Maybe c4c5specialist can help you. You should send him a PM. I'm sure he can answer that question.

What is FRC? - Ron
In 1999, the fixed roof coupe was added to the targa top and convertable models. It was supposed to be a limited option, lower priced Corvette. In 2001 it evolved into the Z06, which still has few options, but it is NOT a lower priced Corvette. :L

Very true Drth Vtr. My 99' FRC was a California car I picked up before I traded it for the ZO6. I had the original window sticker that said $38,000, but at the bottom was the dealer mark up of $10,000 that brought it up to $48,000. So much for a less expensive Corvette. They saw how structurally rigid and how light the car was, which really means how fast it was. Word caught on at GM regarding this so the mark-up was expected. Now they are talking about the 99' FRC being a collector's car due to low production numbers. I knew this when I traded mine, but I figured a 50th Anniversary ZO6, will be collectable someday. (hopefully)

Hey sorry about that, but the FRC is an awesome machine! Have you got a hold of c4c5specialist yet? He really can help you on the air code.

Hey!! you guys are highjacking my thread ;LOL
Yes I have been in touch with him over at the corvettemechanic.com website. He thinks it is some valve that may be rusted in the shut position on the exhaust manifold somewhere and it is robbing my exhaust of fresh air.
I am going to have it looked at as soon as I can, I don't think it is a serious condition and the car drives perfect(knock on wood)
