Anyone changed out their orig. CE wheels for the black Grand Sport wheels. I am thinking of buying a set, but would like to see how they look. Please email or post the pic of your vette if you have some.

Thanks,

Here is a pict that *89x2* took at a local event earlier this summer:

That’s sharp, first time I’ve seen that combo!

Thanks for the pic. Just what I was looking for.

here is another take on the subject. The original owner had the stock wheels polished then repainted the inner part of the spokes and rim, leaving the rim and spokes polished. I think it was all clear coated but I plan to polish the polished areas if I see signs of oxidation. Fortunatly, the paint work (masking the spokes and rim) was first rate and I see no signs of chipping. I was not crazy about it but it does grow on you and sets the car a bit apart from stock. What do you guys think ? I think I am going to paint the calipers red and polish the 'Corvette' lettering on the calipers.

It looks very nice, but does not look that much different from the stock wheels to be honest. I was looking at buying a second set of rims to try a different look. I like to keep everything orig., so this scenrio is not up my alley as I would never have repainted the orig. wheels. But to each his own.
