Colored Lights?

Can anyone help me explain this phenomenon? When I go out for a drive in my 74 L-82 I get a strange noise (almost a Woo-Woo-Woo sound) in the rear of my car accompanied by red and blue flashing lights. Now it doesn't happen evey time, it's more intermittent. Now on occasion it seems to stop after a few minutes of driving over 120mph. Any way I guess it's not that big of a deal, but wondered if anyone else has experienced this as well.

Mine did the same thing... you need a killer sound system. The noise will be gone. As far as the flashing lights... you are correct, use the tall thin pedal on the right, the lights fad slowly... but do go away.

If it's dark out, you could always turn off your own lights (if you're really sure where you're going) and turn a few times really quickly. Eventually the woo-woo's are bound to fade along with the strange lights.

Now I wonder how many people are still scratching their heads.

Ear plugs do wonders! also removing the rear view mirror helps greatly!!!

I'm liking this idea. You could even throw the mirror out and possibly take out the woo-woos.

Keep the foot on the accelerator! It sounds like the start of an alien abduction to me. Say Klaatu Barata Nikto in case they catch you. Also will get you a week in the psyche ward if it it not really the aliens, after all.:L But you may get out of a ticket. Maybe not.

You could try running out of the car swatting and yelling "BEES,BEES, Save yourself!" It worked in Tommy boy.
It won't work on aliens though, they have seen all the tricks.
