Column Lock Recall Thread

I had the recall work done today on my 99. Other than a few hand/finger prints on the dash, pretty much a non-event. They installed an updated wiring harness, checked the lock plate clearence, and updated the PCM, all in about 1-1/2.:cool

don't know what everyone else is going through - on my 2001 Z06, PCM reflash and out the door in less than 1/2 hour! no parts needed replacing, no wiring harness, no nothing.

It's the exact same procedure except with a different wiring harness as far as what I was told at the dealership.

It's the exact same procedure except with a different wiring harness as far as what I was told at the dealership.

I had the CLB installed on Friday so I choose to bypass the GM recall.
