I read about the codes, on the driver's door post, in lots of places, but cannot seem to figure mine out, and i dont trust myself, for im getting it repainted and dont want to mess it up. Here is what the code plate says:

B O7E ^TO23O9
^T81 33L 33U 39M E
CHEVROLET

^T means upside-down T looks kinda like a L.

Any and all help is apreciated

Thnx for yalls time,
SpartanSith

Here is a Previous Thread that will help explain some of your questions ;)

The 02309 is the S/N the upside down T indicates 1. Check your VIN and the last 7 digits are the S/N. With the color codes indicated, MY MONEY is that a 5 is the first number which indicates a Bowling Green Built 1981. Also the B 07 indicates built in July at Bowling Green ;) July 22, 1981 or there abouts.

Exterior Paint = Two tone Silver/Charcoal. Interior = probably Charcoal Leather or Silver Leather, that would be a guess (not from the numbers provided). I've seen two tone cars with only one number, this is also noted in the Black Book.

Thank You Rare81, thats what i thought but the 33L and 33U confused me a little, thanks for the reasurance and all yalls help.

thnx again,
SpartanSith

Oh, one other thing, could anyone supply me with some pictures of two-tone cars, the painter needs something to go by on where the two colors meet, multiple angles would be great.

Thnx again,
SpartanSith
