Console Gages in an '81

A few weeks ago I got togther with Bill81Vette and we noticed that he has different console gages than me.

Across the top (L to R), I have: Water Temp, Voltmeter;
The bottom (L to R): Clock, Oil Pressure, Fuel Level

If I remember correctly, Bill had an oil temp gage instead of the clock (correct me if I'm wrong-Bill). He has a auto, I have the 4spd.

Where there different gage options or ???

Also, the service manual says that there should be an oil light in the console as well. I don't recall having one. Maybe it's there, but I don't think so.

I have a 4 speed car. I have the oil temp guage instead of a clock. It depended upon which radio option the car came with whether you had a clock or oil guage.

As Dave stated, the radio with tape deck had a clock, so they replaced the standard clock with an oil temp gague.
