How many of you have made the conversion to R134a refrigerant? As the R12 had gotten so expensive I made the switch to R134a in my '71 when I was restoring it. I trashed the POA valve and converted it to a clutch cycling system and it has worked great ever since. I am also using the 1" longer C4 blower wheel so it blows a lot more air. And how many of you are using the 1" longer C4 blower wheel? That is a modification that is certainly worth doing but its best to use the later motor (which I didn't and had to modify my new blower wheel). With summer now here it's sure nice to have a good A/C system.
