Convert back to a transitor ignition

I was wondering how difficult it would be to convert my car back to a transitorized ignition. The car still have the transitor in the from left fender (disconnected) but the coil and distributor have been replaced.

Where to you find the correct parts for a 1970 LT1?

Do you think the amplifier is still good since it has been disconnected for some time?

Mine list original and is tach drive. I am assuming that the ID bands can be removed.

If removed, how do you identify the distributor?
