Convertible Weatherstripping installation

I am having some difficulty in installing the weatherstriping on the back of the top, the portion that rests on the rear deck. There is a filler band that holds the weatherstriping in place but I've been unsuccessful in getting it to stay. Does anyone have any advice?

I'd like to know too. Mine popped out and the @#%$ thing will not go back in and stay. THe w/stripping is in great shape but just won't stay. ad
