if you go to corvette.com you can request a sales brochure from GM. i got mine today and really nice ,it comes in a cool corvette folder to....
now i really want a c6...........:BOW

Cool. I got one from the dealer when I went in for service. He almost suckered me into a C6 test drive!

As for the brochure, I've kept it in the shrink wrap. Better keep that genie in the bottle for a while.

People - Be carefull when you make your online request for a brochure. I did this a few weeks ago and asked for brochures on the C6, and the new Impala. They sent me the big glossy brochure for the Impala but only the single sheet handout for the C6. Maybe they assume if you ask for both, you can only afford the Impala...recommend you ask for ONLY the C6 brochure.

I requested a C6 brochure and only got the single sheet handout.

If your dealership is like mine, I suggest you don your football uniform, grap the brochure and run a T.D. My guys are quick and I'm usually tackled as soon as my foot gets into the showroom.

The 2005 C6 brochure had a nice DVD in it, the 2006 brochure kind of shocked me when it didn't.

The wide view of the ZO6's chassis in the 2006 brochure is definitely cooooool!

I went to GM to get a brochure for the C6 and all I received was 2 one page flyers. :cry

Yup. I got it on friday.

I went into a dealer to get a C5 brochure about 1999. I was seriously considering my first Corvette. I was told by a salesperson "we are careful who we give those to; they cost about $25". I promptly left and bought a '97 from the local used dealer, Fairly Reliable Bob. About 3 years later, I went back down there to talk about buying a new C5 Z06. Once again, I was treated shabily. I bought a Z06 with 5800 miles, once again from Fairly Reliable Bob. I have a friend who went to that same dealer. He was prepared to write a check on the spot for a Corvette. He does not look wealthy, but he has plenty of money. They refused him a brochure unless he was going to buy that day. He promptly left that dealership and bought a car from a competing car company! How stupid can dealers be, anyway?

You’d think in this day and age that salesmen would be smarter than that. Some of the clients I work for are monetarily well off; yet if I see them on weekends, they look as if they have not two pennies to rub together.

I’ve noticed over the years that if you have driven your Corvette to the Chevy dealer and request a brochure, they’re not as stingy. If I drive my sedan, I have to do a song and dance.
