Coolant sensor???

I understand that the coolant sensor is on the passenger side of the engine block, well I am curious to know what the sensor is on the drivers side of the engine block??? I have a stock 89 L-98. Any suggestions would be GREAT. thanks

sensor on driver side

It is the sensor for the Aux fan in front of your radiator it is between Cyl 1 and 3.
