Okay, so I'm wondering about my coolant.

When should it be changed? I'm here in the South Chicago Suburbs so that'll give you an idea of what kind of weather I have to deal with.

What color should the coolant be? Should it stay pretty green?

If I just change out the coolant in the reservoir, does that really do much for me?

I've heard of a flush, but it was also stated that flushes shouldn't be done on a somewhat older engine (91,000 miles).

Thanks for the help guys!

Avoid high pressure flushes. They can create holes in the system.

I like using a bottle of Water Wetter in addition to the coolant.

ps. I have heard of a sonic radiator cleaning. Don't really know more than that.

I would say it is supposed to be pretty green, and I would drain the radiator, that will get most of it out, there will still be some in the block, need to flush it to get that out. Just add fresh coolant and you should be good.
