Does any one out there know the correct original alternator that came with the 1986 aluminum head Vette? The one I have in there is part number: 1101264 105A 11036A 12v NEG. I've been told this is not the original and it is not the correct one. I thought it was original to the vehicle, it doesn't have the sandblasted rebuilt look or anything.

Is your alternater the small or large bodied unit? Other than the amperage, only one or the other will fit your brackets and belt.

it's the small CS130 type, I just want to know what the number of the original alternator was that came with the car. I want to try to locate a correct original one.
