In my excitement and haste to get the info out I mis-stated the name of my old standby swirl/haze remover. The correct name is "SCRATCHOUT" Sorry about that Guys and Dolls!!!! I did not have the bottle in hand when I posted , upon opening the bag last evening it hit me that I entered the wrong name!!!;shrug :duh :hb :(

Oh!!! Thats why its the "old stand by" ....of course!!!!!!;)

The "old stand-by"? Why, it's corn starch of course. ;)

From Caswell Plating:
Eliminating 'Swirl' Marks
Swirl marks caused by buffing in the final stages can easily be removed by wetting the part with a damp cloth, then dusting with a powder such as:- Whiting, Talcum Powder or Corn Starch, then buff on your wheel again until the swirls disappear.
;)

I have used scratch out on my fathers car and it worked like poop, it didnt take the scratches out and it made the finish duller then ever. Just my opinion this product did not work for me.
