Corsa Extreme?

Good morning,
After reading several posts about Corsa exhaust systems, I definitly will go with corsa. Now which one? I was leaning towards the Pace system, but am now considering the Extreme system. Those of you that have the Extreme system or are famliar with the interior noise level please help me decide. I certainly want the exterior noise,but would like to hold a conversation with my wife while driving. I am concerned with the cruising noise level not the acceleration noise level.

I absolutely love em, but then on the other hand/passenger seat, ...

...my wife thinks I've ruined my Vette, maybe it's the combo LGM Longtube Headers/Corsa Xtreme Exhaust that's to loud for her, I think they Rule!

I can vouch that 6 shooter's car sounds great. But if you are concerned about the wife, you'd better stick with the Pace Car version. I love mine, and the wife has never said a word about them. :L

I went with the Corsa Pace system about a month or so ago. Previously I had an SLP Loudmouth and it made the car miserable to drive on the road (read DRONE). According to the Corsa website, their systems, regardless of which one, is supposed to suppress the highway drone.

When I first installed the Pace, I was a bit disappointed in that I thought it might be too mellow and maybe the Extreme would have been better. However, after running the system for awhile now, it has gotten slightly louder and at this point I really like it. I can listen to the radio, talk on my cell or carry on a conversation at highway cruise as well as the stock system...but under acceleration and idle it sounds sweet and gets pretty darn loud under hard acceleration.

If the guys running the Xtreme systems can confirm the highway drone is non-existent, and you like a pretty aggressive exhaust note...you'll probably be happy with the Xtreme. If the drone is not gone...your wife will shoot you or stay at home!

Wives generally suffer from the same malady, aversion to loud; doesn't matter if it is exhaust, stereo, or surround sound. So, if you want to keep the peace, and have her ride with you, it would be better if it was not too loud...just my experience.

Extreme installed

I had the Corsa Extreme installed last week . My wife and I are very happy with the Extreme. Inside the car it is quiet as we had hoped for, but when I jump on it it really roars. Again thanks for all the help in making my decision.
