Corvette America dash shields - any good?

Corvette America has a new dash shield in their catalogue. They say they are better than the old dash caps since they are made from the same material as their dashpads, have speaker holes pre-drilled and are solid color not painted. Anyone use one or see one yet?

Kaz, did you ever find out about the dash top pad? I am trying to decide between a new dash top pad or getting the dash cap any advice?

I asked on all the Vette boards and nobody has used one yet. According to Corvette America they look fantastic but I wouldn't expect them to say anything else. I haven't decided which way to go either.

I installed one last weekend in my 75 vette. The installation took about an hour and it came out great. The only thing you have to be carefull about is bending it to get it in the opening on top of your old dash. I let it sit in the sun for an hour to heat up and get a little more flexible. The cover cost 119 dollars and had the speaker holes and the correct silver color.
