Corvette Assembly Plant Tours Resume on Monday

The Corvette Assembly plant will resume tours on Monday, July 16 and will be in full swing building the 2008 models. We have approximately 15 Museum Deliveries and 3 Buyers Tour visits scheduled next week and look forward to meeting the new owners.

Thanks for the news... Since you and others here on the CAC are in the know, is there any way you can answer the following question?

I have an order in for a Crystal Red Metallic '08. I was given the order number just about a month ago and TPP is from the 23rd through 30th of this month.

I understand that the new color Red was/is in strict allocation and only ~ 18 orders available at the time when the dealer got the OK from GM to put the order in.

Have any of the first 18 Crystal Reds already been produced? Or is it possible that my car is/will be one of those first few?
