corvette club in texas/ DFW areas

basically, as it says, im looking to get in a corvette club, to cruise, go to shows, that hole big thing. but i cant seem to find one locally with half decent reputation, and they really hate that im pretty young. anybody got some thoughts,

I'm not a member of the Lone Star Club but I do go to they're big spring show at Texas Motor Speedway.

I know not all clubs are members, but you could look some up through NCCC (www.corvettesnccc.org). You might even be far enough west to try the Western States Corvette Council website (www.wscc.ws). They might be able to give you some information or a name of someone to contact.

The club I belong to is mostly "older" people (like me, but we think young), but we have some in their 20's & 30's. If they're not downright beligerent to your face, it is what you make of it. you can always join a club, and if you don't like it, sign up for another one next year.
