I have to highly recommend a fellow to you if you want to save time and money on parts. He has sent 2 shipments of various stuff from his salvage warehouse and wow what a deal. Vette parts are expensive. His junk isn't.

Jason at Vette 2 Vette. I don't know if Rob allows this but the prices are awesome. Everything he sent was at least half price of Ebay stuff. A power seat track for $50? Works great. Excellent condition rear taillight lense $5? Come on! They are $29 in Eckler's. Power seat switches and harness $60. Probably $200 new. I'm blown away by this guy because he's nice as hell too. He ships faster than Mid America and has thrown in 2 small items FREE.

It is refreshing to deal with somebody that takes such personal interest. If you need some whacky little nick-nacks or something for repair or upgrade call this guy. 815-673-6200

I second your recommendation. I've bought from Jason before and he's only about 1 hour away from me.

Where in Illinois is he located? I'm going to be in Decatur next month. If he's not too far I may stop by and pay him a visit.

Thanks,
Mike

He's not too far west of Joliet, that may give you an idea. Decatur is a long ways from Joliet though. I'm thinking 2 hours or so?

I just went on line to his web site vette2vette.com. The site looks good but he doesn't seem to have parts for c3 or older.

Bruce,

He just has C4 and C5 parts. He just recently started doing the C5 stuff.

I've been there before and it's quite a site. To see Vette's just totally torn apart and shelfts of parts is pretty amazing. You see these complete exhaust systems just leaning against the wall. I saw a C4 that someone took a hammer to. Asked him what the story was about that and he said, "Wife caught him cheating so she took a hammer to the hood and sold me the car for cheap just to get back at him." :L
