Corvette obsession: Joe Jackson's passion is thing of beauty

There are people who like cars and then there are people who are obsessed with them.
Barrigada resident Joe Jackson is among the latter -- so infatuated with a line of vintage Chevrolet Corvettes that he's a walking encyclopedia on the subject.
He has several that are works in progress and a few that live in a climate-controlled environment, including his favorite: a 1961 white and silver cove C1 roadster.
It's a car he's owned for the last 24 years as eye candy, toying with it to keep it maintained. And recently, he's begun to take it out into its natural environment -- the road -- inspiring the rest of his family to share in his passion.
