I have seen this Corvette driving around parts of Central North Carolina for the past year at least 4 times.
I was finally able to get some photos of it at the Chapel Hill/Durham Best Buy. Looks like a lot of labor went into the car.

I've had six el Caminos since 1972, finally one that handles worth a crap... I sure do miss that '59 though.

Not bad looking, but with the gross vehicle weight rating on the C-5,
he ain't gonna be able to haul a whole helluva lot! Do look like they put a
bunch of work into it though.........

I'm quite sure that it can haul the only thing important... ASS!!!

I have wondered if it would look any better in a different color. :w

Then to really mess it up - a camper shell.

An El Corvino! (Sounds like a Mexican wine...)

I wonder if real ZR1 or just the badge. Would't mind having a C5 made up the same way.

one of the quickest cars, ive ever had , was a 65 elcamino with a 3:73 and a modified 335 ci with a single plane intake 650 duel feed double pumper.
broke the the nose gear on the saginaw 4 speed one night eating alive a 635 bmw,......ahh the days!!.....never lost in that car. except at the street drags, pinellas park fl. in the third round to a 68 396 camaro, because I "broke" out.

Very observant Kenny. :w I had not noticed that before.

Pretty nice conversion - at least from a distance.

I saw one of those about 10 years ago. I believe there was an outfit somewhere that made the conversion kit. I think its one of the same places that made the Cadillac pickup conversion kits.
