Guys and Gals!!
I need some advice on the value of a 1964 Corvette Roadster.
This car is in strong no. 2 condition. In fact it is as close to a trailored show car as you can get while still being driven.
It has strong 20 year history, was restored in 2000(with over 500 pictures documenting the frame-off resto.) and has 1000miles since it was done.
It has a protecto-plate, is Riverside red with a red leather interior and black top. It includes the hard top and the hard-top dolly. It has PS and PB, repo. aluminum knockoffs and air.
The trouble for me is that it does not have a numbers match block and the automatic transmission has been changed to an overdrive unit (the original rebuilt powerglide comes with it).
The block that's in the car is a GM 4 bolt H.D. 327 built to 410 hp/450 lbs torque. It is a 300hp/327 with 3.90 posi.
How does the non-numbers match block effect the value on a car like this???? All other things being equal?
Thanks everybody...for your input.
