What you see is a validation of what I have been saying all along.
The US govt is NEVER going to do anything to help Corvette:
1. It is not politically/environmently correct.
2. It is expensive - bought and owned by (mostly)wealthy (or at least well off) republican/ right wing wacko MEN. - WHETHER THEY ARE OR NOT!
3. it competes with other countries - China and Japan and Europe - which our corrupt politicians favor routinely.
4. It is genuinely American - which doesn't fit in today's "global" politically changed America.
