I wanted to post this here because I feel it's a worthy cause. Hutch posted this on a couple email lists and I thought it should be posted here as well. You can find out more about the show here: http://www.corvettetheamericandream.com/

From Hutch:

For those who have never seen the "Corvette, the American Dream" TV show, you are missing out on a really great series specifically aimed at OUR interests! The Speed Channel is under the impression that there isn't enough interest in CORVETTE to justify nationwide syndication. Can you believe that???

I think that with a concerted effort on our part through a letter
writing campaign to Speed, we CAN change their minds. Comments to them through their Feedback link on their website at http://www.speedtv.com is fine, but nothing beats a stack of hardcopy letters!

To that end, I have prepared a boilerplate letter (in both .htm and .doc format) which I urge you to print out and mail to the Speed Channel. Feel free to modify the letter to make it your own, but please... invest a stamp and encourage Speed to pick up this show and make it available nationwide!

Here's the links to the sample letters...

http://www.cfca.net/CTAD.doc MS Word Version

Lets keep this show alive and make it available to everyone.

Thanks!

John 'Hutch' Hutchinson

I inserted this into our monthly Southwest Corvettes newsletter in hopes of generating support, even though Speed Channel is unavailable to me.

Thanks for the heads-up on this! Even though I get Speedtv with my local cable package, I've printed the letter and will mail it today!

I was looking forward to "Corvettes At Carlisle" on Speedtv's schedule a couple weeks ago (10/10 and 10/26). They seem to have dropped it from the line-up. :(
