I need to ask any 2004 owners if they received a VHS video with their cars. I have a friend who got a 2003 Ann Ed and they got a video. I asked the dealer and they didn't know anything about it. ( big surprise ;LOL )

The video is broken up into segments on driving your car, assembly, cleaning it etc...

Thanks for your responses

Got a video with my 02 but with the 04 just the cd

just a CD, I had a 99 that came with the video

All MN6 owners

I guess they got tired of all the "Marbles in the can" questions so they stopped in 04. Yeah, that CD is "very instructional" Don't know what I would do without it!

I received the cd-rom that everyone is referring to, plus my dealer included one of these...

(and no... this auction isn't mine).

BWI,

Yes I received the brochure package as well. A different promotoional Video CD was included on the flap. I found it to be more instructional than the audio only CD with the car. Even collected a second as it was near the end of the selling year. Will keep it clean and unopened and sell on ebay when value increases in 10 years. lol

Thanks
Ed

No video with the '04 Z06 I bought last November, just the useless CD. You can download the video off of www.Z06vette.com - which I did on Friday - watching it made me want to get the Vette out on the back roads despite the fields and trees being covered with ice. So much so that I tried it yesterday since the roads were relatively dry, but when I backed it out of my garage I instantly got it stuck on the ice covered grass - even strips of carpet wouldn't unstick it. Fortunately it warmed up enough today to melt the ice so I could barely unstick the Vette and it melted enough on our driveway so I thought I could get it up and down the hill to the house. So I went out for a drive and had a blast, even though the roads were a little dirty, from the sand they put down last week, and a little wet, especially in the corners where the slush that was plowed up last week was still melting. I had a blast, only put it sideways (more like 45 degrees) once - one of the few times I downshifted to third - when I got on the power a little too quick come out of a corner with water running accross it, but the car imediately steered back in to line - nothing gets your heart pumping like having the back end step out severly on a narrow two lane road at 65 mph. But I had fun, I enjoy driving the car too much to put it up for the winter like some folks do. I bought it to drive it so I need to take advantage of the nice weather when I can!

Kevin,

First off I just finished watching the Vid (including some really neat drag ones) and really enjoyed it. Even though I don;t have a Z (04 Coupe), most still pertained. A bit dated but even that was ok. Thanks for the link.
Second, here on Long Island, I can't put my car away either. As a matter of fact with in the next 2 weeks or so (God willing and the parts get here), its off to Vettedoctors for Vararam, Dynatech Headers/Hi-flo Cats/X-Pipe, Magnaflow Catback and a Dyno tune. Who says there is no life for a Vette in the Winter.

Keep em straight and between the lines and drive it like you stole it!

Ed

Sounds good - enjoy it! Last spring I looked at an '03 coupe that only had 1600 miles on it. I can't imagine putting that few miles on the Vette - if I wasn't going to drive the car I wouldn't buy it. My former daily driver the last three years (which I unfortunately had to sell when I bought the Vette) was an '01 Camaro SS - I drove it 95 miles a day (round trip) to work no matter what the weather, I just put snow tires on in the winter. I do have another car so I don't plant to drive the Vette every day but I certainly don't plant to park it all winter. Last week was the first week this winter I hadn't driven the Vette, but we had freezing rain an sleet on the ground all week.
