Corvette vs Mustang?

People compare Corvette’s and Mustang. I can see Ferrari vs Lamborghini but Corvette vs Mustang sounds stupid. They are comparing sport cars (some of them are supercars in my opinion) to muscle cars. That sounds incredibly stupid to me.

The latest generation Mustangs are a closer comparison than some. The Shelbys and higher end Mustangs are pretty potent and handle well too. Ford -Chevy comparisons have been in the works for as long as I can remember...and that goes back to the early 1960s.
