Greetings boys and girls; I am doing a little research project here and am seeking the forums knowledge; Given the span of the "Corvette" since it's inception, particular vettes have appreciated to remarkable amounts, some more than others. To examplify this historical mark, which 5 to 10 vettes were the most appreciable by what their original MSRP was and what their Real Market Value is in today's current market?

Get a "Corvette Black Book" for original sticker prices, then get a Pro Team newsletter (or surf their website), subtract 10% from the Pro Team prices, and make your appreciation comparisons.

Only 10% John, my you are being nice today.

Ebay would be a good indicator of selling prices just pick some out and "watch" them

I would have to say number 1 on the list belongs to the '67 L88. Sticker of about $4,800 or so. A fully documented one with a partial tank sticker sold a few years ago for $500,000.Number 1 on the list would probably go to a '69 ZL-1 (only 2 from the factory) if one could be documented fully enough.

just off the top of my head i'd guess ANY of the L-88's, L-89's, ZL-1, '63 Z-06's and the original Grand Sports.
of course, original '57 fuelies, '65 396BB's, any of the C2 big tank cars, are all way up there in the current market. (maybe the '61/'62 big brake cars also)
