Yep, just could not stand doing without my LT4 C4; bought another one. Three weeks is all I could go.

This is does not have the F45 option. The previous owner took off the FE1 springs and installed Vette Brake Products Sport springs. He also put on new Bilsteins and the Z51 front and rear sway bars. And lastly he had the stock rear silver wheels chromed and put them on the front and put 11" ZR1 stype wheels on the back. He told me that he did not get the ZR1 offset, so that the tires would not stick out...and you know...they don't. No need to get the Grand Sport fender flares.

Car has 41,061 miles on it. Only thing he told was wrong was that the A/C blows from the defroster for about 10 min and before it switches to the dash vents. I've heard of this before....what is the fix for this?

And I found that the driver's door is sagging and there is movement in the hinge pin bushings right after opening the door. The further you open the door, the less up/down movement there is....kinda of strange. I expect that I will just change out both door hinge pins and bushings.

He had SLP mufflers on it, but took it off and put a stock system back on. Have to do something about that!

Not sure if I am going to like the glass top here in Tucson....lots of sun. May have to break down and spend the $$$ to get a solid top...but not til next summer.

No plates so I cannot drive it on this sunny Sunday...what a drag that is..

That's so cool!!!
Hey, just get one of those static cling liners for the glass top. I can't say that Mississippi summers are any hotter than Arizona's "dry" heat, but I'm not baking under the searing sun pouring in thru my Vette's glass top either!!
A cap is a good idea on occasion also.
Happy LT4ing!!! :Steer

Lanny,

Congrats on the new LT4! Sounds like a nice find! I only have the clear top on mine yet w/ the sunliner (w/ holes) from Mid America I'm actually pretty comfortable. Along w/ the window tint, the AZ heat & sun are now bearable.

Enjoy the car & post some pics when you can...

Cya,
Jeff :w

My defrost did the same thing, I found a leak in the vacuum line that feeds the dash.

my 2 cents ain't worth a dime
