For a C5 coupes stout frame, there would probably be no problem with body flex.

Chop the top on a C4 coupe without adding the numerous reinforcements that were made to the C4 vert and you are asking for a shaky quaky ride. The car is going to probably drive like it has Parkinsons disease!

I didn’t see any mention of bracing the C4 chassi for this modification (not that I’m interested in the mod :().

I talked to a guy at Carlisle last year who had one of these. He put a convertible x-brace on, and said it wasn't a LOT worse than a C4 convertible. With the full roof on, it's the same as before. He had water drainage issues, though. He did like it.
