Cover/liner in back of seats

I have noticed on a couple of 81's that there is a pull out cover that extends from just above the rear speakers to the back of the seats. This serves as a cover for items ..like T-tops that are placed behind the seat. Is this an original item, aftermarket or an option for 81's......where can you get them..I looked at the normal catalogs..nothing or I missed it.

Feel like a real dumba$%..I have the cover/liner.....much like a window shade..where can you get a replacement?

I know.. I have checked all the vette catelogs..nothing..can get the shade from a junk yard for about $75..surprising that there is not an aftermarket, or NOS for this item

I would think that for $75 you could get a new one made at an uphostery shop, rather than an old one from a salvaged car. What do you think?
Hell, for $75 I would even make an attempt. Can't be more than $10 worth of vinly in it?!?!?!?

Feltman, There is a rear cover on e-bay today 9-23-03. I think this is what you are looking for.He has a buy it now price of $70.

It's called the rear sun shade. They came out in 78 with the body change. You can buy replacement ones for around $120 new.
