Cracked parking/drl lenses

This has probably been discussed before, but I cannot find anything if it has. Both front parking/drl lenses are cracked at all four corners, with the right side having a line about 1 1/2 inches toward the center.

Has anyone else experienced this? I was really surprised to see this while polishing the 2002 up today. Of course, the warranty is gone although it has only 7500 miles. Any similiar experiences?

I have had no problem with my 03, but I ran into a fellow at a rally this past spring with an 04, and both his lenses were cracked with less than 4k miles on the car.

He seemed to think it was a problem more wide spread than just his case. His dealer was going to replace his lenses under his warranty.

Mine is out of warranty, an 02 with 7300 miles, but I am going to see if they will replace them anyway.....what's the worse that can happen, them saying no?
