Hi there. Just purchased a Crane ignition box for an MSD Distributor (tach drive) so my mechanical tach will work. Where is a good location to mount the box? I mounted it on the lower portion of firewall below the heater core. Should be OK there as it is a marine model, but where can you hide an e-coil?

Thanks, Dan

Dan I have a 1966 roadster NO a/c and I hid mine on the passenger side of the car behind my battery,I painted the box black and I actually have to remove the rev limiter chip from outside the car sticking my hand in thru the louvers.I am out of town on vacation and I will post a picture of it when I return home around the 28th

IH2LOSE,

Thanks for your reply, can't wait to see those pictures. My car is not stock, but is Low Profile. I have a ZZ4, a chrome air cleaner and black/polished L-82 valve covers and no ignition shielding.
There is no excess chrome and the engine looks like it could have been factory installed. I like the Stealth program!

Dan

Its definatley stealth dan. What type of wires are you running I had to make a custome set of wires for my car because I was told the sheilded cables will not work with a high output ignition system.
